The T40 Protective carrying case has a custom foam insert that is designed to store and protect your Applied Instruments Super Buddy Satellite Meter and it's accessories. Whether you are transporting or just storing; this case will protect your meter from moisture, dirt, dust, drops, and virtually any other hazards!
Waterproof: Water and dirt are the enemies of your Super Buddy Meter. The T40 has been engineered to ensure that your Super Buddy Meter stays dry and functional regardless of the weather conditions. The waterproof seal used in the T40 case is custom designed. The hollow core design prevents material deformation or fatigue of the seal to ensure a watertight seal that will last.
Automatic pressure release valve: Changes in altitude and geographic location creates a vacuum which can effectively seal a case shut. The T40's integrated auto-pressure valve equalizes this atmospheric pressure difference. Using state-of-the-art technology, the micro vent allows air to pass through while preventing water from entering.
Impact Resistant NK-7™ resin.
With rounded corners, thick wall construction and oversize details, the T40 is built to absorb the shocks without damaging the case or more importantly your Super Buddy. Highly impact resistant, lightweight, and rugged, the NK-7™ resin can withstand nature's extremes.
PowerClaw™ latching system: The PowerClaw™ latching system (patent pending) used the T40 case is engineered to keep your case closed. The PowerClaw™ clamps the case tightly closed using compressive force while the integrated slide lock prevents the case from opening during transport or when dropped. The super tough nylon construction ensures your Super Buddy remains safely inside the case no matter where the journey takes you.
Soft grip foldable handle: The T40 is tough and durable, but it does have a soft side. The handle structure is molded with the specially formulated high impact NK-7™ resin but is over molded with a soft touch rubber for comfort. The integrated stays keep the handle folded down to avoid damage during transport or shipping.
100% Stainless Steel Hardware: The hardware found on every T40 case is marine grade 304 stainless steel. By using the highest quality materials available we can build a better case that will perform as well 10 years from now as it did on the day you purchased it.
Integrated Lid Stay: The T40 comes loaded with innovative features. All models have integrated lid stays molded into the hinge that keep the case lid open when you need it to stay open. No more pinched fingers.
