PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Snap Toggle Anchor is beyond superior to conventional toggle bolts, such as wing toggles or gravity toggles. Plastic straps don't break prematurely and the straps snap off flush with the wall every time. The metal channel pushes aside insulation. It puts the strongest toggle bolt in the smallest hole, and allows for removal of bolt or fixture without the anchor falling behind the wall. It's easy to use: pre-install without bolt. Great for TV mounts!

Features:
  • Quantity: box of 50
  • Grip range: 3/8" to 3-5/8"
  • Drill size: 1/2"
  • Will hold: 256 lbs. in 1/2" drywall, 356 lbs. in 5/8" drywall, 1,080 lbs. in concrete, or 1,232 lbs. in 1/2" steel plate
  • Use a 1/4" x 20 bolt (SKY5058) with this anchor

  • Here's how it works:
  • Drill 1/2" hole. Hold metal channel flat alongside plastic straps and slide channel through hole. Minimum clearance behind wall: 1-7/8".
  • Hold ends of straps between thumb and forefinger and pull toward you until channel rests flush behind wall. Slide plastic cap along straps with other hand until flange cap is flush with wall.
  • Snap straps at wall by pushing side to side, snapping off straps level with flange of cap.
  • Place item over flange. Insert bolt through item and tighten until flush aganist item, then stop.

drill a 1/2" hole, insert toggle bolt, make sure the ends are even so you know it's properly deployed behind the hole, pull it snug against the wall, press the locking plate into the hole and snap off the ends. So simple even Uncle Roger can do it! I usually drill a succession of pilot holes just so I know everything aligns correctly at the finish. Bolts fit perfectly too, but sold separately.
