The Wedge-It is a compact door-stop that is the perfect addition to any installers tool belt! No more searching for something to prop that door open. Great for Alarm installers, access control installers, Fire system installers, pretty much anyone who ever has to work on, near, or through doors!

1. Top of the Door:
With door open to a 90 degree angle place Wedge-It on top of the door between door and door jamb. Wedge-It is designed with 4 different settings to fit between the top of the door and the door jamb. This is because that distance varies between doors.

2. Over the Hinge Pin:
With door open to a 90 degree angle place Wedge-It over hinge between door and the door jamb.

3. On the Floor:
Wedge-It can be used on the floor like a traditional wooden or rubber door stop.

i work in construction toward the final stages of the project when doors and locks are installed but only one guy on site has the key. Getting doors unlocked is a huge timesink so I definitely want them to stay open. These will work on just about any kind of door. I keep one of these in my bag and another on my truck and they get used very often. I like the green so that it's visible and I don't leave it behind.

We were using the rubber door stop and the door was still closing (the door stop slipped consistently). We found this particular door stop, ordered it and we haven't had another issue with the door moving. I tried to physically close the door with the stop in place and it didn't budge. We use it on the floor but also have a backup one on the hinge as the door is extremely heavy and has closed on someone before. We would definitely recommend this particular type of door stop. We will never go back to the regular rubber door stop again.
