We set this Wi-Fi RICK up on an iPad here at the shop and it is AMAZING. Unlike the 3.5 inch display our inspection cameras normally come with, viewing an inspection camera on a 9.7 inch iPad display makes things so much easier to see! Not to mention taking still shots and video recordings are much more intuitive and easier to share with others.
We have seen quite a few inspection cameras over the years, but Rexford Tools RICK (Rigid Inspection Camera Kit) is by far the best inspection camera we have seen for guys doing wire fishing and inspections of any kind. If you have used a conventional inspection camera or scope, you know the frustrations involved with getting the flexible neck positioned on your target; not with RICK.
Rexford Tool's RICK has a 11-3/4" (300mm) rigid stainless steel neck with a 90° offset camera and 2 LEDs. Looking inside a wall, ceiling, or floor is as simple as drilling a 3/8" (9mm) hole. The 90° offset camera allows you to simply spin RICK 360° and get a full view of everything. The two super bright built in LEDs allow for viewing in even the darkest of places. Use the thumb-wheel on the camera handle to turn off or adjust the two LEDs to the perfect light level.
If you have fished wires before, you know the frustrations involved with running wires where you can't see; let RICK help! Fishing a finished ceiling? Pop RICK up next to a heating vent or can light to see what you're up against. Have an impossible wall fish? Use RICK to see inside the wall and position your drill perfectly or see potential obstacles.
RICK is also great for inspections of any kind. With its IP67 rated shaft, RICK goes where it is dirty, grimy, wet, and even underwater! Inspect everything from heat exchangers to engine blocks.
