The ROY2212 is Royal Racks' 12U rolling rack from the 2200 Series — a line redesigned around feedback from the installers who actually build these things.
The result is a steel, black powder-coated open rack that assembles in about 15 minutes, rolls on pre-installed 3" gray non-marring casters, and holds 12U of AV, network, or head-end equipment that you can wheel out of the closet for service instead of working blind behind it.

The hardware system is the quiet star.
Thread size is consistent throughout the rack, with two screw lengths sharing one diameter: short self-starting screws for fast frame assembly, longer screws with built-in non-conductive washers for mounting equipment securely. And Royal solves the ran-out-of-screws problem with a formula: four accessory screws per U — a 12U rack ships with 48 rack screws plus the assembly hardware bag.

Two 120 mm knockouts at the top and bottom of the rack accept thermal management fan kits (like Cool Components COOL2037) or serve as clean wire pass-throughs — especially handy when stacking two racks with Royal's ROY1232 Rack Stax.
The rack ships knocked down to keep freight reasonable and store flat until the job's ready for it.
