The Diamond 30-01732 rams horn is the building-end anchor of a telephone or fiber drop: secure it to a masonry or wood surface with a No. 16 screw and hook the bail of the drop wire clamp over the horns. The open rams-horn profile makes attaching and detaching the drop quick while holding it captive under tension - which is why this pattern is used as a standard by major telephone companies across the telecommunications industry.
Formed from high-quality steel wire and mechanically galvanized to ASTM A153 and B695, it exceeds 700 lbs load capacity and is R.E.A. accepted.
