The GMP Model C2 is the compact lasher for smaller-diameter aerial plant: it spirals stainless steel lashing wire around single or bundled cables up to 1-7/8" (46mm), riding strand from 1/4" to 3/8" (6-10mm). Design improvements make the C2 equally at home on new construction or overlash work - the new-style strand lock swings out of the way for unobstructed overlashing, and simple wire routing selects either "normal" or "loose" wire tension.

Dual wire magazines load two coils of stainless lashing wire (typically 1200 ft x .045" or 1600 ft x .038"), and at 35 lbs unloaded with a tapered 10" OD x 18.5" housing, the C2 hands up the pole and passes through treed spans easily. Like every GMP lasher, it is CNC-machined from alloy steel, stainless, bronze, and aluminum castings, with gear drives and sealed bearings for years of service - and it is fully serviceable to good-as-new specifications at the factory and factory-trained locations worldwide. Ships with a 6 ft bridle rope with snap hooks, instruction manual, and a rugged lightweight storage chest.
