Jonard TK-287 Fiber Optic Cleaning Kit+ - LC, MU, SC, ST, FC & MPO Connector Cleaners
The Jonard TK-287 is Jonard's most complete connector cleaning kit, covering LC, MU, SC, ST, FC and MPO on the cable end and inside the port. The connectors that fail most are the ones a basic kit cannot reach - multifiber MPO end-faces, duplex jumpers and recessed ports - so this kit adds an MPO push cleaner and a universal cleaner to the 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm cleaners.
Connector contamination is the leading cause of fiber link failures. A fingerprint or a speck of dust on the end-face raises insertion loss and back reflection, and it does not wipe itself off when the connector is mated - clean every connector, every time it is unmated.
