The many unique features of the Diamond/Sachs “D” Lashing Clamp have made it the standard for the communications industry. It is used in aerial construction to secure lashing wire terminations at any interruption to cable span continuity or end of lashing wire coil.

Features:
  • Custom contoured hot rolled high tensile strength steel clamp plates (min 80,000 psi)
  • Clamp plates assure a positive non slip grip on 1/4" (6.6M) to 7/16" (16M) messenger strand
  • Stress relieved steel stud (3,000 lb. tensile strength) will endure up to 30° bending upon 120 lb. in. torque up without fracturing
  • Large diameter, heavy duty steel washers assure permanent attachment of the lashing wire
  • Square shank on the stud fits a square hole in the clamping plates to prevent rotation when the nut is tightened
  • Mechanically galvanized to ASTM B695 specification for a long corrosion free service life which meets or exceeds industry and Bellcore requirements
  • Weather Buster secondary finish application available to enhance corrosion resistance
  • REA accepted
