Paladin Tools PAL-1915 Pocket Probe Pick is great for pulling wire, slicing, stripping cable and cleaning debris off terminal panels. It features a spudger tip and a wire hook. It also features a wire stripper and slitting tooth. The probe pick is small and lightweight with a non-conductive scraping tip. The PAL-1928 is the perfect addition to any tool kit.

Overall, this IS the most effective & practical wiring pick tool I've used in 26 years of IT work.
The small flathead screwdriver hidden under the cap, not only makes an effective screwdriver for jack & wiring screw-downs, but is thin enough to help you secure 110-block wiring in each punch-down channel.
The plastic hook end works to help you filter out your wiring pair from other pairs in the management channel, and the metal hook underneath the plastic one is especially effective at clearing wire insulation debris out from the punch-down channels for clear copper connections, wire to punch-down block. You cant go wrong with this tool. The Greenlee version is green plastic and the Paladin tool version is orange, but other than that, they are the same tool.

This is the ultimate tool for working on twisted pair not only to identify and pull the pair out to work on The best feature is the probe end that has a probe underneath the protecting cover that is perfect for pulling wires off a 66 or 110 block. You don't have to worry about the end causing damage to your shirt when put in your pocket; the protective cap is screwed on making it hard for the end to accidentally come off. The feature alone is a reason to buy this Paladin probe/pick ass the Klein probe pick like this does NOT have a protective cap.

The sludge is great, and seems to be much better quality than most normal spudgers. My only complaint is that the hook ends (both metal and plastic) are slightly too thick to fit down in to Commscope Systimax jacks.
