In the die, the blade cuts and trims the wire ends when terminating ezEX-RJ45 connectors on larger cables and conductors (typically Cat6/6A). A sharp blade assures your tool will neatly trim the wire from the ends of the connectors for crisp, clean crimps every time. Always have a spare on hand.
