The Cable Prep SCT-840 is the SCT stripping/coring tool in a rugged lightweight plastic body. It strips back and bevels the outer conductor and cores the dielectric in one smooth operation, removing the aluminum sheath without scoring. The patented one-piece blade leaves a beveled outer conductor edge that eliminates O-ring damage and minimizes water migration.

Run it by hand, or pull the handle and chuck it in a drill.
The standard ergonomic handle removes to run the tool on a 3/8in variable-speed drill. Threads molded into the body accept the matching Cable Prep JCS jacket stripper, and the light grey color-coded guide sleeve keeps the right tool coming out of the bucket.
