Louisville Ladder PK-E03A Combination Pole Grip & Cable Hook Kit for Fiberglass Extension Ladders

If your current ladder does not come with a Pole Grip and Cable Hook, or you're looking for a replacement, the PK-E03A is the kit you'll want to install. It combines a rigid V-shaped steel grip covered in heavy rubber tread, for a firm hold on poles and corners, with foldable cable hooks that hold the ladder on a strand. It fits Louisville fiberglass extension ladders from 16 ft to 28 ft and weighs only 3 lb.

Per OSHA, when portable ladders are used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails shall extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access; or when, such an extension is not possible because of the ladder's length, then the ladder shall be secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and a grasping device, such as a grab rail, shall be provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder.
