Platinum Tools 100035C Strain Reliefs for EZ-RJ45 Cat5e Connectors - Clear, 50 Pack

Platinum Tools 100035C Strain Reliefs for EZ-RJ45 Cat5e Connectors & Shielded Cat5e Connectors are an innovative snag-proof strain relief system that is specifically designed to be crimped with the EZ-RJ45 plugs. The plug's primary strain relief locks the snag-proof strain relief in place so it will not pull off, creating one integral assembly. Once crimped, this design allows the plug's primary strain relief to relax slightly, preventing the cable pairs from being over-compressed.

The tab on the strain relief is designed to extend over the plug's locking tab, making it snag-proof when administering patch cords. The strain relief decreases stress on the termination, which contributes to achieving peak performance.

Features:
  • Strain reliefs (boots) for EZ-RJ45 Cat5e connectors
  • Also fits other cables with a max cable outer diameter of 0.260" (6.6mm)
  • Prolongs patch cord life
  • Maintains the bend radius that standards compliance requires
  • Terminations have a professional finished look
  • No more snags or hang-ups causing tangled messes
  • Easier to unlock the connector when unplugging from a jack/port
