PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ripley UtilityTool WS-MSES #4 Solid 110 mil Tap & Riser Wire Mid-Span Stripper

The UtilityTool WS-MSES strips the mid-span and ends of primary voltage tap and riser wire. It removes a section of the polyethylene covering at mid-span so the wire clamps easily to lightning arrestors.

A spring-loaded locking bolt opens the tool halves to drop it onto the cable, and the pull ring at the end of the bolt clips to a belt or pouch. This model is sized for #4 solid AWG wire with 110 mil covering - see the chart for other sizes.

Features:

Strips the mid-span and ends of primary tap and riser wire

Removes the polyethylene covering for clamping to lightning arrestors

Spring-loaded locking bolt opens the tool body for quick positioning on the cable

Pull ring attaches to tool belts and pouches

Sized for #4 solid AWG with 110 mil covering
