Ripley UtilityTool PIT-1T Load Break Elbow Probe Insertion Tool - 15-34.5 kV, 125 in-lb
The Ripley Tools UtilityTool PIT-1T Probe Insertion Tool (Part No. R35150) is purpose-built for the quick and easy insertion of a load break probe into a small interface 15 to 34.5 kV elbow. Engineered for precision, the tool applies a proper 125 in-lb torque so probes seat correctly on the crimp connector without risk of breakage, cross-threading, or contamination of the arc-quenching probe material.
The PIT-1T features a versatile multi-drive design that adapts to nearly any job-site condition. Its adjustable, removable handle converts to a full T-handle for maximum leverage or a compact moment arm for tight vault and pad-mount enclosures. Reversing the tightening action allows for effortless probe removal when re-terminations or replacements are required.
Built from steel for durability in demanding field environments, the PIT-1T is designed for utility linemen, underground distribution technicians, and cable splicers who install and service 15-34.5 kV load break elbow connections.
