Wish I found this sooner! Saves a lot of time and has helped me say goodbye to hand cramps from doing so many terminations especially in the cold. All you need to do is apply a bit of inward pressure then push the button. Having been in the IT industry for 20+ years now, I always wondered why no one came up with a solution for untwisting cat5 and cat6 wire before. At first was unsure this would work but after 2-3 initial tries (and watching the video), it now works like a charm EVERY TIME. I’ve had it for about a month now and if they charged me 2X as much, I’d happily pay it because between the fingers/wrists being saved and my time being saved EACH TIME I USE IT – this is worth every penny and then some! Your hands will thank you July 19, 2023 Reviewer: clark buelow from United States   I just started working new job in the low voltage install field and after weeks of not being able to efficiently terminate various cables, I decided to try this tool as a last resort. Although it is not a necessity, this thing speeds up the workload and my hands don’t cramp up anymore. It quickly straightens the conductors and doesn’t take long to master. Tool comes with a very sturdy pouch that easily fits into my small tool bag. Save your Fingures! Glad I got it! I recently contracted a job with over 200 cat6a cables and I decided to take the chance. Man I am so glad I did. The first few cables didn't go well, but by the time I was on the tenth cable it was effortless. Perfect tool for me and my crew! July 19, 2023 Reviewer: Andre Pereira from United States   I become so spoiled that even for the smallest jobs, one or two keystone jacks or RJ45s I use the Untwist Tool. I have a small MSP business and untwisting cat6 and cat6A just blows. Hate it. Good job Untwist Tool. Now, if the wire would get straightened out without using my thumb, that would be even better. There is always room for improvement. I see lots of people complaining about the price and we all know that you can pay this off with 2 hours of work max. The button location should be a little closer to the tip because I have small hands so I hit the button when I am straightening the wires. Other then that, it works like a charm.
