Ripley Cablematic CB 116K Coring Bit Kit for CST 625 Coring Tools - 625 kcmil (Blue)

The Ripley Cablematic 31420 (CB 116K) is the OEM replacement coring bit kit for the CST625 coring and stripping tool, designed for .625" HFC trunk and distribution coaxial cable. The CST625 uses a heat-treated, spiral-fluted steel coring bit to remove the foam dielectric and core the cable in a single pass - when that bit dulls with use in the field, the 31420 restores full performance without replacing the entire tool. This part is the right choice for linemen, cable splicers, and telecom technicians who depend on the CST625 as a daily driver.

The 31420 coring bit kit fits both the standard CST625 (T-handle with built-in 3/8" drill adapter) and the CST625-R ratchet version, and Ripley lists the same kit for the QCST 625T. Compatible cables are CommScope® P3, Times Fiber T10 and Alcatel / Benelux ACE/ACW. For a complete wear-part replacement, the CST625 Bit Kit (RIP-CST625-BIT-KIT) is also available and pairs the CB 116K coring bit kit with the 29106 blue guide sleeve. The CST625 sheath-cutting blade (CB 60, part 14907) is also sold separately. Technicians working with the smaller CST500 tool should use the CB 115K coring bit kit (part 31320) instead, as coring bit kits are specific to cable size. After coring, a center conductor cleaner such as the CC-100 or CC-200 can be used to remove any residual dielectric from the conductor.
