Ripley Cablematic CB 118K Coring Bit Kit for CST 875 Coring Tools - 875 kcmil (Yellow)

The Ripley Cablematic 31620 is the heat-treated steel replacement coring bit kit (model CB 118K) designed for the CST875 series Coring, Stripping & Chamfering Tool. The coring bit cores the dielectric of 875 kcmil coaxial cable while the tool strips the outer sheath in a single precise pass, producing a clean, beveled cable end ready for connector installation. The coring bit is the wear part most often replaced during high-volume coaxial cable preparation by cable splicers and broadband installation technicians.

The CB 118K kit is compatible with the CST 875 (Part #32210) standard T-handle tool and the CST 875-R (Part #32250) ratchet-handle variant, as well as the updated QCST 875T and QCST 875T-R tools. Confirmed compatible cable types include CommScope® P3, Times Fiber T10, and Alcatel / Benelux ACE/ACW 875 kcmil coaxial cable. The sheath cutting blade on CST tools can be replaced on its own (part 14907), so you only change the coring bit when the bit itself is worn. For complete coring tool setups, the CST 875 series accepts interchangeable strip length stops ranging from 0.5 in to 2 in (12.7-50.8 mm), each sold separately. The ratchet handle (Part #31275) and 3/8 in drill adapter (Part #31235) are also available as separate accessories for technicians configuring or rebuilding their CST875 assembly.
