One tool for every Simply45 plug: the S45-C101 ProSeries crimps ALL Simply45 brand RJ45 modular plugs — pass-through and standard WE/SS (8P8C), shielded and unshielded.
That includes the external-ground shielded plugs used on 10G LAN and larger-diameter cables like shielded Cat6, and the Cap45 ProSeries pass-throughs we carry. It's the tool the connectors were engineered for, backed by Simply45's lifetime warranty.

The built-in external ground crimping socket is the feature that saves you carrying a second tool.
Shielded external-ground plugs have an arm that must be crimped to the cable jacket — most crimpers on the market make you do that with a separate tool. The C101 has the socket built in. Around it: a click-lock socket that audibly confirms the plug is seated in the correct crimp position; dual synchronized ratcheting handles that open to 4.25" and deliver more force with less hand effort (one-hand Cat6a crimps, genuinely); and a reinforced steel-wrapped head that keeps the whole cycle stable for better pin sets.

The working details are installer-driven throughout.
A pre-calibrated, diamond-polished hardened steel blade cartridge trims pass-through wires flush every cycle with no adjustments; the T568A/B wiring pattern is laser-engraved right under the socket for a last-second check; a built-in wire stripper and cutter handle prep; spare blades store in the handle; and a sliding tool lock keeps it closed in the bag. One compatibility note: for non-Simply45 external-ground WE/SS plugs, use Simply45's S45-C250 Universal instead.
