The U-Mark U-Phase Large (10704MCM) replaces tape with paint: a valve-activated permanent marker sized for big MCM wire, laying down red identification that adheres permanently to a clean cable sheath and resists handling, abrasion, and heat. The resilient polyester tip conforms to the curve of large conductors and lasts longer than felt, and the marker delivers roughly 10 times the mileage of vinyl tape at about 20% lower cost per marked phase. U-Mark's Greenlabel paint carries a lower environmental impact than vinyl tape — and wire remnants can be re-marked and reused instead of scrapped over a wrong-color tail.
