It is sized for cables with a maximum outer diameter of 1.015in (25.78 mm) over a 95 mil insulation wall - matched to 500 kcmil compressed conductor - giving technicians a precise fit for consistent, clean square-cut end stripping. Part of the WS 22 bushing family that supports 600V secondary cable with concentric, compressed, and compacted conductors from #1/0 AWG up to 1,000 kcmil, this bushing lets crews quickly configure their WS 22 or WS 22A tool body for the exact cable size on the job - no need to swap to an entirely different tool for each diameter.
