Arlington MB5771 Non-Metallic Mounting Block - Dutch Lap Siding, 5" x 7", White Paintable
Arlington's MB5771 gives you a smooth, flat mounting surface on Dutch lap siding for A/C disconnects, cable and fiber demarcs, ground blocks, cameras, and other exterior equipment. The one-piece, non-metallic base is contoured for the Dutch lap profile and installs after the siding is up - position it with a flat-head screw, mount your device through the block into the sheathing, and caulk the top and sides.
A drain hole at the bottom edge keeps water and dirt from collecting behind the block, and the textured UV-rated surface takes paint so it blends into the home's exterior. Mounting blocks like the MB5771 also help installations meet NEC 2020 code compliance for A/C disconnects.
