Cable Prep MRT-1SFA Messenger Removal Tool - PIII, T10, TX10 & CommScope QR Hardline

Cable Prep's MRT-1SFA messenger removal tool separates the messenger from the jacket on all PIII, T10, and TX10 hardline cables. The MRT tool strips the messenger from the end of the cable, and the companion WST web slitting tool removes the messenger in the middle of a cable run.

Cable Prep also lists the MRT-1SFA for CommScope® Quantum Reach® (QR) cable from .320" (7 mm) through 1.125". On .540", .715" and .860" QR cable the WST tool and a WPT web planer tool can be used in succession: the WST removes the messenger and the WPT planes the remaining web to the correct jacket thickness for the connector.

Sized for all PIII, T10, and TX10 cables - cleanly removes the messenger and web from the end of the main cable

Spring-loaded, pivoting blade made from hardened tool steel bites into the web for a clean cut

Blade releases easily so the tool slides along the cable without damaging the web - removes a precise length of messenger

Knurled surface ensures a firm grip; the body is anodized and sealed to protect it from the elements
