Cable Prep SCT-875 Strip & Core Tool - .875 PIII & T10 Hardline, Plastic, Grey Sleeve

The SCT-875 stripping/coring tool is two tools in one. SCT cable strippers remove the aluminum sheath without scoring, while the cable coring function cores the dielectric and bevels the outer conductor on hardline cables. SCT stripping/coring tools work on 0.412" through 1.000" hardline cables, including PIII, T10, TX10, CommScope® Power Feeder, Times Fiber 50-ohm, PB10, MC2, and comparable HFC cables. This tool is sized for .875 PIII & T10 cable.

Use it by hand with the standard ergonomic handle, or remove the handle and run it on a 3/8-inch variable-speed drill. The grey color-coded guide sleeve makes it easy to pick the right tool for the cable.

Features:

Performs 3 functions at once: strips back and bevels the outer conductor and cores the dielectric in one operation

Patented one-piece blade with perfectly aligned coring and stripping edges

Blade manufactured from high-alloy tool steel heat treated to full hardness; beveled edges remain sharp over a long life

Precision performance: cores the dielectric and strips the aluminum sheath without scoring

Prevents O-ring damage: the beveled outer conductor edge also minimizes water migration

Operate manually or with a drill (standard handle removes for 3/8-inch variable-speed drill use)

Threads molded into the body accept a Cable Prep JCS jacket stripper (sold separately)

Lightweight plastic body with diagonal I-beam struts
