The Jonard JIC-186 is built for the job: high-carbon stainless steel blades heat-treated to HRC 58-60 shear cleanly through Kevlar® yarn, cable insulation, tape, cable ties, and other tough materials, and the serrated edge grips slick aramid fibers instead of pushing them out of the jaws. Dual-component nylon and Santoprene™ handles keep repetitive prep work comfortable, and the joint screw under the protective cap lets you tune blade tension as the shears wear in. Backed by Jonard's lifetime warranty.
