Jonard TK-182 Fiber Optic Connector Cleaning Kit - LC, MU, SC, ST & FC, Dry and Wet-to-Dry
The Jonard TK-182 is a purpose-built connector cleaning kit for techs who install, patch and troubleshoot LC, MU, SC, ST and FC links - in a telecom closet, a central office, an FTTH drop or a data center rack. It covers both methods the standards call for: a dry pass for everyday dust, and a wet-to-dry pass for oils and residue a dry cleaner cannot lift.
Connector contamination is the leading cause of fiber link failures. A fingerprint or a speck of dust on the end-face raises insertion loss and back reflection, and it does not wipe itself off when the connector is mated - clean every connector, every time it is unmated.
