The Nitecore EDC17 puts three tools in one flat, pocket-sized body: a 1,500-lumen white light, a 1,350 mW UV light, and a green laser pointer.
A single UHi 25 LED throws a 251-yard (230 m) beam for walking a site or checking a span after dark. The UV source picks out leaks, stains, fluorescent markings, and counterfeit bills, and the green laser points out a fault, a fitting, or a cable path across a room or a field.

Control is a three-position slide switch plus a mode button — no menus to memorize.
Slide forward for low, mid, or high; tap M to step between white, UV, and laser; press and hold M for instant laser, even with the white light on. A 1-lumen ultralow mode keeps night vision intact in a dark crawlspace or truck cab.

The built-in 1,500 mAh battery recharges over USB-C and runs up to 260 hours on ultralow.
Power indicators show when it is time to top off. The stainless steel body is IPX7 waterproof and rated for 2 m drops, and at 3.74 oz it clips to a pocket or bag strap and stays out of the way until it is needed.
