Platinum Tools 5" flush cutters are ideal for cutting copper wire or trimming leads with the full flush cutting blades. These pliers are great for field or production line work. The tool is manufactured from high carbon tool steel, precision ground, and hardened for long life.

    I really like the cut these make.  It is truly a flush cut unlike some others I’ve owned.  My only complaint is that the plastic handle covers seem to fall off from time to time.

    I purchased this cutter expecting to cut CAT6 cables with good results.  It worked but does not cut as cleanly as I was expecting from a Platinum Tools product.  I compared this to another cutter I purchased, expecting the Platinum Tools cutter to be my primary cutter but it's now my backup instead of my primary.

    Gives a perfect straight cut on twisted pairs and makes it easy to nip off the spine in cat6a cable.
