Shipping policy for packages shipped within the United States.
While most in-stock orders placed before 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time will be shipped that same day, Tech Tool Supply does not guarantee same-day shipping. Our goal is to process all orders within 24 hours of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped during regular shipping hours. (Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST, excluding national U.S. holidays). If we encounter any problems processing or shipping your order, you will be contacted within 24 business hours via phone or email.
All orders with addresses within the contiguous United States are shipped via FedEx. FedEx Operates Monday-Friday for Business deliveries and Monday-Sunday for Residential Deliveries (excluding national U.S. holidays). Estimated shipping times do not include weekends and holidays. If you
need to make special shipping arrangements for Saturday Delivery, please call our Sales Team at 877-208-6657 to make arrangements.
• FedEx SmartPost®: Based on the average daily shipping volume, FedEx Ground SmartPost picks up and delivers your package(s) to a FedEx Ground or USPS facility for final delivery.
• FedEx Home Delivery®: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S.
• FedEx Business Delivery®: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S
• *FedEx Standard Overnight®: Delivery the next business day in the afternoon by 4:30 p.m. (by 8 p.m. to residences).
• *FedEx Priority Overnight®: Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most businesses and by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to residences and some rural areas.
• *FedEx Priority Overnight SATURDAY®: If you have an order that is needed for a Saturday delivery, please call our Customer Service Team at 877-208-6657 for an upgraded/accurate shipping estimate.
• FedEx 2Day®: By 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences).
• FedEx Express Saver®: Delivery to businesses by 4:30 p.m. and to residences by 8 p.m. in 3 business days.
FedEx Freight®: Shipments over a certain amount of weight automatically fall under this shipment. A.M. Delivery and Close of Business Delivery options available for an additional charge when you want delivery by a scheduled time.
Please note, FedEx Ground/Express does not deliver to a P.O. BOX as it requires a physical shipping address for delivery. FedEx SmartPost is able to ship to a P.O. BOX.
Additional Handling Surcharges:
A surcharge of $9.80US is added to any shipment that requires an item over 54 inches to ship; this charge is passed on from FedEx to our customers.
To correct your shipment address, please call our Customer Service Team at 877-208-6657. An additional charge may apply to a rerouted shipment. Address corrections cannot be done if the shipment was sent via FedEx SmartPost.
Rerouting a Shipment:
To reroute a shipment, please call our Customer Service Team at 877-208-6657. A special handling charge of $11.50 may apply to a rerouted shipment. This charge will not be applied when a package is changed to Hold at Location, and the FedEx location (FedEx may require photo identification of the person authorized to pick up the package.) is in the same city as the city on the air-bill. Only one reroute will be allowed per package. Any requested change to an address that is not a reroute or an address correction is a new shipment, and new shipping charges will apply.
*FedEx Priority Overnight Options: - Please understand that choosing FedEx Priority Overnight does not necessarily mean your order will be in your hands tomorrow. While most orders placed before 4 pm Monday-Friday do ship on the same day, some orders will be shipped on the following day.
