Jonard FP-600INS Insulated Fuse Puller - 1000V VDE (IEC 60900), Chrome Vanadium

Pulling a fuse with pliers is how fuses get crushed and how knuckles find live parts - the FP-600INS exists so neither happens. Jonard's insulated fuse puller is purpose-shaped for extracting and installing cylindrical fuses: precision knurled jaws grip the fuse body firmly and remove it without damage, in exactly the tightly restricted spaces where fingers and pliers fail - power inserters, outdoor splitters, automotive fuse panels, and notoriously cramped spots like the fuse on a Technetix line amplifier.

The insulation is the real credential: fully insulated grips, VDE approved to IEC 60900 standards up to 1000V, rated for 1,000 VAC live work and tested to 10,000 VAC. That gives broadband and electrical techs a margin of protection when working around energized equipment. Under the insulation, the tool is heat-treated chrome vanadium steel for maximum strength and durability, the same construction as Jonard's non-insulated FP-600.

For CATV plant techs, the use case is daily: line amps and power inserters live on powered plant, and their fuses are both the first diagnostic and the most awkward part to grab. The FP-600INS makes that a five-second, damage-free, insulated operation. One for the meter bag, one for the truck.
