The Platinum Tools 744 is the simple, rugged answer: a weatherproof housing that seals almost any RJ45 coupler against dust and splashing water to IP64, letting you extend a run outdoors or in wet locations without re-pulling the whole cable.
A full rubber liner seals around the cables at both ends, and dual locking latches keep the two-piece housing firmly closed against weather and vibration.
Dual center mounting points let you secure the finished junction to a wall, pole, or strand with screws or cable ties, so the splice point isn't hanging by the cable. Works with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A couplers (coupler not included), which means it also protects shielded and PoE runs feeding cameras, access points, and outdoor sensors.
