The Coax Genius simplifies toning and mapping by quickly finding point A and point B of any RF distribution system regardless of what components are installed between. It tones and maps through splitters, taps, diplexers, amplifiers, line extenders, and virtually all other RF components. With additional Remotes, the Coax Genius can map up to eight locations at a single time. The Coax Genius is also available in a 4 Remote Kit and an 8 Remote Kit.

Additionally, the Coax Genius checks to see if the path from the Remotes to the Receiver passes DC voltage. This feature allows cable technicians to quickly determine if components, such as splitters, are on the line. Satellite technicians can use this feature to test that the path to their satellite components, such as an antenna, will properly pass DC voltage.

Modes: The Coax Genius comes equipped with three different modes designed to help map and troubleshoot issues with RF systems:

• Genius Scan is the ultimate cable mapper. Simply connect the Remote to the location you want to map and the Receiver can find it at any point on the same RF system.
• Genius Tone operates similar to a conventional Toner Tracker, except Genius Tone is designed specifically for coaxial cable. Genius Tone uses a different signal type that is designed to go through splitters, taps, amplifiers and just about any RF component. Mapping cable through an RF system is effortless with Genius Tone.
• Genius Volt makes detecting and troubleshooting issues caused by AC or DC voltages on RF systems so much easier. Simply connect the Coax Genius, and it will immediately show you the exact AC or DC voltages that are present on the system.
