Cable Clear from Cable Prep, specially formulated by BioChem Systems, is a safe, effective and easy-to-use natural solvent cleaner. It quickly removes cable floodant/gels, water blocks, C-cement, filling compounds, greases, and other petroleum-based products from telecommunication cable, filled (PIC) telephone cable, plastic tubes and cladding in fiber optic cable, or filled CATV cable. Cable Clear may be used on tools and equipment. It is the ideal replacement for hazardous or toxic solvents.
Cable Clear uses a natural, renewable citrus terpene to dissolve gels and flooding compounds. It has a high flash point and a fresh citrus scent and is safe to use in confined spaces. The large wipe and slow evaporation rate let you clean and fan several cables before reaching for another wipe.
