The Cable Prep RSCT-7MMQR strips back and bevels the outer conductor, cores the dielectric and strips back the outer jacket on 0.320in (7mm) CommScope QR cable. Because QR jacket has to come off after coring, each SCT-QR tool ships with its own threaded jacket stripping tool with a patented mandrel pin that supports the soft aluminum outer conductor.

Factory-set stops, self-aligning blade.
A non-clogging internal stop is set at the factory to the cable's dimensions, and the bevel on the coring edge self-aligns on the center conductor so the tool cores even out-of-round cable. Turn it with the ratchet T-handle, or remove the handle and run it on a 3/8in variable-speed drill.
