PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Jonard TK-184 Fiber Optic Connector Clean and Prep Kit with FC-500 Precision Cleaver - For Fusion Splicing

The Jonard TK-184 preps fiber for fusion splicing: strip it, cleave it with a precision cleaver, clean it and check it. It works with 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm connector end-faces and bulkhead adapters. The FC-500 precision cleaver gives the flat, square cleave a fusion splicer needs on 900 micron buffered or 250 micron coated fiber. The three hole stripper, 91% isopropyl wet wipes and visual fault locator round out the kit. For mechanical splicing see the TK-183.

Features:

FC-500 precision cleaver - fusion-splice quality cleaves on 900 micron buffered or 250 micron coated fiber

Three hole stripper: 1.6-3 mm jacket, 600-900 micron buffer, 250 micron coating down to the 125 micron glass fiber

91% isopropyl wet wipes, nonabrasive and residue-free (pack of 50)

Visual fault locator finds breaks, leaks, stress points and poor connections

For 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm connector end-faces and bulkhead adapters
