Ripley Cablematic CB 115K Coring Bit Kit for CST 500 Coring Tools - 500 kcmil (Red)

The Ripley Cablematic 31320 is the CB 115K replacement coring bit kit for the CST 500 Coring, Stripping, and Chamfering Tool - the standard replacement when the coring bit assembly of your CST 500 or CST 500-R is worn or damaged. The CST 500 cores the dielectric foam, bevels the aluminum sheath, and strips the polyethylene jacket of .500" coaxial trunk and distribution cable in a single operation, and this kit restores that capability without replacing the entire tool. Designed for use by linemen, cable splicers, and telecom technicians working on coaxial cable plant infrastructure.

Part 31320 fits both the standard CST 500 (part 31910, T-handle with built-in 3/8" drill adapter) and the CST 500-R (part 31950, ratchet handle with separate 3/8" drill adapter), and Ripley lists the same kit for the QCST 500T. The red color coding identifies the 500 size in the CST tool family's color-coded sizing system. If only the sheath-cutting blade requires replacement, Ripley's CB 60 (part 14907) can be swapped independently without installing a full coring bit kit. This coring bit kit is compatible with the cable the CST 500 is rated for: CommScope® P3, Times Fiber T10, and Alcatel / Benelux ACE/ACW.
