PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Holland Electronics right angle adapters are one of the highest quality 3GHz adapters available on the market today. Holland's Patented Pin seizure mechanism offers twice the pin contact area and holding force as compared to conventional right angle adapters. This allows for the higher current handling required by newer satellite systems and offers long-term reliability.

Advantages of Holland's Premium Design

Lower Insertion Loss:
  • The F90-HR has approximately 1/3 the insertion loss of standard adapter at higher frequencies.(Savings of over .5 dB at 2 GHz).

    • Higher Return Loss:
  • With a return loss of over 35 dB @1 GHz, as compared to 13 dB for standard adapters, the F90-HR can assure a higher match resulting in faster digital speeds. The F90-HR series exceeds current SCTE minimum RL levels of 20 dB.

    • Round, Multi-Point Seizing Pin:
  • The patented multi-point seizing pin provides a larger contact area than standard, dual flat pin splices. This results in lower contact resistance and thus higher current handling capability when needed, as well as a greater resistance to long term center conductor oxidation. The patented design also creates a mild wiping action which removes a few microns of oxidation upon insertion.

    • Beryllium Copper Seizing Pin
  • The use of the more expensive beryllium copper material for the center conductor seizing pins insures a greater holding force than the traditional phosphor bronze or copper pins used in standard splices. The advanced material also maintains a higher spring tension over repetitive insertions.

    • Accepts a Wider Range of Cable Center Conductors:
  • Due to the greater elastic capability of beryllium copper, the F90-HR series can accept a wider variation in cable center conductor sizes and maintains its high strength on the smallest cables even after repetitive insertions of the largest cables.

    5 of 5 Best choice Thursday, May 11, 2023
Reviewer: Scott from Minnetonka, MN United States
In general, avoid using right angle adapters when possible, but sometimes they're the best choice for the situation. I've been forced to use other brands in a pinch, and I just don't trust them (had a few break). I've been using these Hollands for a year or so now and have never felt that way about them. They're sturdy, and so far, I have yet to replace one.

    4 of 5 3Ghz Right Angle Coax F Adapter Wednesday, July 6, 2022
Reviewer: Kerry LeMasters from New Martinsville, WV United States
I believe these are the good ones.  They appear not to just have a press fit but the back of the right angle has a pressed in cover that suggest it may be a solder connection as well.  Time will only tell and if one fails, I will find out how it is internally connected.  I would suggest these over the other 10 pack ones that Tech Tool has listed

    5 of 5 Great Product Thursday, May 20, 2021
Reviewer: Chris H from Lucas, TX United States
I have used these on many installs, both on DirecTV and over the air applications.  I have never had any issues with them and work very well.

I would highly recommend them for anywhere you need a sharp bend and can't bend the coax.

5 of 5 Right product, right price Thursday, March 25, 2021
Reviewer: GregoryP from Clarkston, MI United States
Confident based on specs that it would do the best job for me.  Correct.  No appreciable loss, throughput remained the same, and allowed me to move cabinetwork close to wall without stressing RG6 cabling.

5 of 5 Very Good Connector for F-Style Cabling Wednesday, February 17, 2021
Reviewer: Dennis Smith from Sonora, CA United States
This connector adapter was very good quality. I chose it because of the high frequency rating in my application and its low loss. Other F- style connectors are less expensive but have higher loss at the higher frequencies.
