Arlington's MB5751 gives you a smooth, flat mounting surface on 5/8" lap siding for A/C disconnects, cable and fiber demarcs, ground blocks, cameras, and other exterior equipment. The one-piece, non-metallic base installs after the siding is up - position it with a flat-head screw, mount your device through the block into the sheathing, and caulk the top and sides.

A drain hole at the bottom edge keeps water and dirt from collecting behind the block, and the textured UV-rated surface takes paint so it blends into the home's exterior. Mounting blocks like the MB5751 also help installations meet NEC 2020 code compliance for A/C disconnects.
