The Ripley Miller 80235 is a replacement angled slitting blade designed for use with the Miller 205, 305, 400, and 405 series cable slitting tools. It is used to slit cable sheaths, fiber buffer tubes, drop cables, and figure-8 aerial self-supporting ducts during telecommunications and fiber optic cable preparation work. Linemen, cable splicers, and fiber optic technicians rely on this blade to maintain peak cutting performance in the field and at splice closures.

The 80235 blade fits a broad range of Miller slitters: the 205 12GA (80238) and 205 14GA (80250) Rural 'C' Line Wire Slitter & Strippers, the 305 AN (80255) and 305 WEB-B (80260) Figure-8 Aerial Self-Supporting Duct Slitters, the full 400 Series Fiber Buffer Tube & Drop Cable Slitters (covering 1.8 mm through 9.1 mm buffer tube range), and the 405 Series Fiber Buffer Tube & Drop Cable Slitter. The angled blade geometry provides controlled, consistent sheath penetration without damaging underlying fibers or conductors.

Important: the dual-blade design used in the 400 and 405 series tools requires two 80235 blades per tool. Technicians maintaining these tools should stock blades in pairs.
