The Ripley Tools US15-7000 is a versatile, medium-duty slitting tool used primarily to assist in the removal of outer sheathing and primary insulation on LV-MV industrial power cables, as well as large telecom and fiber optic cables. Equipped with a hardened steel blade, it delivers fast, safe, and precise jacket removal from both hard and soft insulated cables without damaging the underlying layers.

This metric-scale model quickly adjusts to suit cable diameters from 10 mm to 60 mm on cable ends and 10 mm to 50 mm on cable mid-spans. A precision blade depth knob adjusts up to 4.5 mm in 0.05 mm increments, allowing technicians to fine-tune cuts for consistent, damage-free results across a wide range of jacket materials.
