Jonard FLS-50 Optical Light Source - 1310/1550 nm Singlemode, FC/SC/ST/FC-LC Adapters

Designed to provide either 1310 nm or 1550 nm wavelengths, Jonard Tools' FLS-50 optical light source is the perfect tool for providing a stable light source for single-mode fiber measurements.

Paired with a Jonard FPM-50A, FPM-55 or FPM-70 power meter, the meter identifies the wavelength automatically, and the modulated tones can be picked up by a fiber identifier such as the OFI-100. For multimode testing as well, see the FLS-55.

Includes FC, SC, ST and FC-LC adapters to directly connect to PC/UPC fiber connectors (FC-LC adapter for singlemode only)

Highly stable output power and wavelengths - holds within 0.05 dB over 15 minutes

Five modulation outputs (CW, 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz) at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths

Typical -7 dBm output, adjustable from -5 to -12 dB

Automatic wavelength identification with the FPM-50A, FPM-55 and FPM-70 power meters

Flush button design makes it easy to use and prevents dust from entering the unit

Shatter-resistant sleeve protects the light source from falls or other damage

Backlit 2.4" LCD screen provides a clear display, ideal for dark places; runs 25+ hours on 3 AA batteries
