The Ripley® UtilityTool® WS 68 SNAP XL is a power-driven end stripper engineered to eliminate the need for traditional knives when preparing secondary distribution cable ends. Mounted to a standard power drill via its 1/4in hex drive adapter, the tool strips concentric, compressed, and compacted conductor jacketing cleanly and consistently, without nicking or damaging the underlying conductor. The extended-length XL body accommodates a wider strip range than the standard WS 68 SNAP, making it suited for larger cable preparation jobs.

Designed for 600V secondary cable applications, the WS 68 SNAP XL supports conductor sizes from #6 AWG up to 750 kcmil when paired with the correct interchangeable bushing (sold separately). The tool's patented quick-connect collar allows crews to swap bushings quickly and securely - even while wearing work gloves - reducing downtime between jobs and improving overall efficiency on the pole or in the bucket truck.
