Cable Prep SCT-500-ALU Strip & Core Tool - .500 PIII & T10 Hardline, Aluminum, Yellow Sleeve

The SCT-500-ALU stripping/coring tool is two tools in one. SCT cable strippers remove the aluminum sheath without scoring, while the cable coring function cores the dielectric and bevels the outer conductor on hardline cables. SCT stripping/coring tools work on 0.412" through 1.000" hardline cables, including PIII, T10, TX10, CommScope® Power Feeder, Times Fiber 50-ohm, PB10, MC2, and comparable HFC cables. The SCT-500-ALU is sized for .500 PIII & T10 hardline.

Features:
  • Performs 3 functions at once: strips back and bevels the outer conductor and cores the dielectric in one operation
  • Perfectly aligned coring and stripping edges on the patented one-piece blade
  • Blade manufactured from high-alloy tool steel that is heat treated to full hardness; beveled edges remain sharp over long life
  • Precision performance: the beveled outer conductor edge prevents O-ring damage and minimizes water migration
  • Operate manually, or remove the handle to run the tool on a 3/8" variable-speed drill
  • Threaded body accepts the matching Cable Prep JCS jacket stripper for jacket strip, strip, bevel and core in one operation
  • Self-aligning color-coded guide sleeve with tab and notch for quick insertion
  • Rugged, lightweight blue anodized aluminum body
