Ripley Cablematic CST 500-R Ratchet Coring & Stripping Tool - 500 kcmil, Red Guide Sleeve

Coring & Stripping has never been easier, this CST-500-R has a ratcheting mechanism that some installers prefer. Ripley's CST-500-R features manual or drill operation with a ratchet "T" handle and a separate 3/8" drill adapter. It also features a heat treated, sheath cutting blade that produces a smooth beveled edge and can be replaced without the expense of replacing the entire coring bit. The CST-500-R is a great addition to any tool kit with its ability to be used on CommScope® P3 cable; Times Fiber T10 cable; Alcatel / Benelux ACE/ACW cable.

  • Manual or drill operation - ratchet "T" handle with a separate 3/8" (9.5 mm) drill adapter
  • Combination stripping and coring tool - strips the sheath and cores the dielectric in one precise operation
  • Heat treated sheath cutting blade produces a smooth, beveled edge and can be replaced
  • Spiral-fluted, heat treated steel coring bit
  • Rugged, durable all metal construction with color-coded guide sleeves for easy cable size identification
  • Accepts strip stops for strip lengths of 0.5" to 2" (12.7 to 50.8 mm)
