The ST3820 is a handheld Optical Fiber Identifier that is designed for optical fiber installation and maintenance. It combines OFI with VFL into one tester. It can identify the optical fiber and is also used as the visual fault locator.

Features:
  • Detects optical signals without disrupting traffic; based on non-destructive technology
  • Indicates the signal direction in the fiber
  • Detects a variety of optical tones, 270Hz, 1kHz, and 2kHz
  • Suitable for 0.25mm, 0.9mm, 3.0mm fiber, and no need to replace the clamp block which makes it more convenient than other models
  • Built-in visible fault locator 1mW or 10mW optional
  • Low battery indicator
  • Powered by 2 1.5V AA alkaline batteries
