The Ripley Tools 10-40030 is a precision square-cut interchangeable bushing for stripping #2 AWG copper THHN and XHHW conductors. It is sized for a 0.390 in. outside diameter with 45 mil of insulation, presetting the cutting blades of compatible Ripley cable strippers to the exact depth needed to remove the jacket cleanly without nicking or damaging the underlying copper conductor strands.

This bushing is compatible with the Ripley 4x4 Plus, 2x2 Plus, WS68, and WS68 SNAP Series cable end strippers, making it one of the most widely compatible bushings in the Ripley line. It is included with select Super Stripper kits and is also sold separately as a replacement when the original bushing wears. Because the stripper bodies accept interchangeable bushings, one tool can be quickly reconfigured for different conductor sizes in the field by simply swapping the bushing — no blade adjustment required.
