The Ripley Tools US08-90090 is a precision-sized, square-cut interchangeable bushing for stripping 2kV aluminum PV (photovoltaic/solar) wire at the 350 kcmil conductor size. It snaps directly into the WS-22, WS-22A, or WS-22 SNAP Series tool bodies, presetting the cutting blade to the exact jacket depth for that conductor size — no blade adjustment required. Compared to knife-based jacket removal, the US08 bushing delivers a cleaner, more consistent square cut while significantly reducing the risk of nicking the aluminum conductor.

The US08 bushing series spans 17 sizes from #8 AWG through 1000 kcmil, each sized to its specific PV wire diameter so technicians can quickly swap bushings on the same WS-22 tool body to handle multiple conductor sizes on a job.
