Ripley Miller CB-251K Replacement Blade Assembly for ACS, ACS-2, ACS-K & ACS+ Slitters (37884)

The Ripley Miller 37884 is a consumable replacement blade assembly (model CB-251K) for the Miller ACS family of armored cable slitters. Made from special alloyed tool steel that has been hardened specifically for cutting steel, copper, and aluminum cable armoring, this blade delivers the same cutting performance as the original factory-installed blade. It is the correct service part for telecom technicians, cable splicers, and fiber optic installers who depend on the ACS tools for longitudinal slitting and circumferential (ring) cuts during mid-span access or end-of-cable preparation.

The blade uses a D-shaped profile that indexes precisely into the matching keyway inside the tool body, ensuring correct alignment and repeatable depth setting every time the blade is replaced. On the ACS and ACS+ tools, depth is adjustable in 0.1mm (0.004") increments per click, with a full knob rotation providing 1.1mm (0.042") of travel and a maximum depth of 5.5mm (0.22") - all of which is preserved after swapping in a new blade. This blade assembly is compatible with the full ACS slitter lineup: the ACS (37880, cable range 8mm-28.6mm), ACS-2 (37897, cable range 4mm-10mm), ACS-K kit (37899), and ACS+ / MB05-7000 (cable range 4mm-28.6mm).
