Triplett TVR1G LAN Network Tester - 10/100/1000 Base-T, Speed & Duplex, PoE Detection

The Triplett TVR1G tests LAN devices and cabling to the 10/100/1000 Base-T standard. The main unit tells you what is on the end of the cable - hub/switch or PC - plus the link speed, full or half duplex, and whether PoE is present and if it is endspan or midspan.

Go inline between two devices to see the negotiated speed and duplex, check pair wiring and straight-through vs crossover, then use the remote probe to trace the cable through the building. Useful for documenting, installing and repairing everyday office LANs.

Features:

Tests LAN devices and cabling to the 1000 Base-T (1 Gb) standard

Identifies the device type - hub/switch or PC

LAN speedometer verifies speed (10/100/1000) and full or half duplex

Inline monitor shows the negotiated speed and duplex between two devices

Straight-through/crossover simulator shows the patch cable needed

Detects PoE and indicates endspan or midspan

Cable test port checks continuity, opens, shorts and split pairs

Remote probe audibly traces all four pairs
